Working Student (f/m/d) – Sales Finance & Spend Management

SAP IT Business Systeme · Walldorf, Germany · hybrid

What you'll bring

You're studying business, finance, marketing, IT or a related field. You want real experience inside a sales organisation — not just theory.

- A creative, team-oriented mindset and the flexibility to adapt as priorities shift

- A structured, detail-oriented approach to analysing data and turning it into clear, well-designed presentations

- Confidence working with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

- Strong communication and presentation skills — in writing and in conversation

- A customer-oriented approach that shapes how you communicate and set priorities

- Curiosity about AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and SAP Joule, and a drive to apply them day-to-day

- Experience with LinkedIn content or social media is a plus

- Fluency in German and English is required for this role

We also look for people who communicate clearly, keep the customer in mind, and enjoy finding smart solutions to problems — whatever stage of your career you're at.

In addition to the role-specific skills above, all student and early talent positions at SAP look for candidates who are open to working with AI tools — including agentic AI — to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted ways of working from day one.

What you'll build

You'll contribute directly to one of SAP's most active sales teams in Germany. You'll work on real deliverables, not shadow tasks — your contributions connect directly to the team's goals.

- Analyse sales data and build reports, dashboards, and management presentations

- Support pipeline and business reviews with structured preparation and follow-up

- Use AI tools like SAP Joule and Microsoft Copilot to automate routine tasks, sharpen analyses, and explore new ways of working

- Support strategic sales initiatives, go-to-market activities, and pipeline generation

- Run whitespace and potential analyses to identify new opportunities with existing customers

- Coordinate customer events, Executive Roundtables, partner events, and internal meetings from planning to execution

- Create LinkedIn content, internal communications, and sales enablement materials

- Take on project coordination and work closely with sales management across departments

Where you belong

You'll be part of the SAP Finance & Spend Management Sales Organisation — a team working with well-known companies across Germany to shape the future of finance and procurement. The team is open and collaborative, and working students are treated as genuine contributors from day one. When you join SAP, you'll be a part of SAP Next Gen — a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. This is a real opportunity to understand how enterprise sales works from the inside.
