- Provide support for general analytical methods to characterize purified proteins/antibodies, including assessment of titer, concentration, purity and relevant biophysical properties.
- Prepare buffers and samples and acquire data using instruments such as HPLCs and other relevant equipment.
- Help instrument maintenance / calibration, and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
- Work collaboratively with Lilly PBS team on-site to ensure smooth operation of lab instruments, and to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.
- Data analysis and data capture of experimental results using E-notebook and data sharing in a timely manner.
- Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or similar discipline
- Basic knowledge of lab activities, such as making buffers, performing calculations, documenting experiments and data analysis.
- Experience in basic protein analytical characterizations technique, familiar with HPLCs is highly desirable.
- Experience with biophysical assays and other analytical techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Pay range: $25.00 - $26.75 / hour
