ETF Portfolio Analytics Director, Vice President, State Street Investment Management
State Street · Krakow, Poland
Who we are looking for
The ETF Portfolio Analytics Director, Vice President, is part of the Global ETF Research team. The role is responsible for developing and delivering customized portfolio analytics that help clients understand how portfolios are constructed, where vulnerabilities may be present, and how different investment solutions can support specific portfolio objectives.
The position combines portfolio diagnostics, asset allocation research, analytical tool development, and client-specific investment analysis. It covers both proprietary and non-proprietary funds and evaluates products according to the role they may play within a broader portfolio.
The role has a specific focus on:
· Customized portfolio analytics and portfolio construction insights,
· Strategic and tactical asset allocation analysis across asset classes, regions, factors, and investment styles,
· Assessment of portfolio vulnerabilities, including concentration, unintended exposures, diversification gaps, drawdown sensitivity, liquidity considerations, and other sources of risk,
· Evaluation of how proprietary and non-proprietary funds may serve different portfolio roles, such as core exposure, diversification, risk mitigation, income, liquidity management, or targeted return enhancement,
· Development and maintenance of scalable analytical tools, methodologies, and client-ready portfolio diagnostics,
· Leadership, quality oversight, and development of junior team members.
As an ETF Portfolio Analytics Director, you will work closely with ETF specialists, investment strategists, sales teams, and other stakeholders across the State Street Investment Management organization. You will translate complex portfolio findings into clear, commercially relevant insights and collaborate with marketing, product, and investment teams to support client engagement and business priorities.
The successful candidate will combine strong investment judgment with quantitative and communication skills. They will be able to move from portfolio-level diagnosis to practical asset allocation considerations, explain the interaction between holdings and exposures, and identify how individual funds can contribute to a coherent portfolio solution.
Why this role is important to us
The team you will join is part of State Street Investment Management, one of the world's largest asset managers, serving governments, institutions, and financial advisors globally. With more than four decades of experience and trillions of dollars in assets under management, we offer a broad range of investment solutions across asset classes, risk profiles, regions, and investment styles. As pioneers in index investing and ETFs, we continue to develop new ways to help investors build portfolios.
Clients increasingly need analysis that goes beyond selecting an individual fund. They need to understand how exposures interact at the portfolio level, whether diversification is effective, where risk may be concentrated, and which implementation choices are most appropriate for their objectives and constraints. High-quality portfolio analytics can turn fund-level data into actionable portfolio construction insights and is an important capability supporting the growth of our ETF business.
Join us if you are ready to make an immediate impact by helping clients identify portfolio vulnerabilities, evaluate asset allocation choices, and use investment products more effectively within complete portfolios.
