Deployment Strategist
monday.com · Tel Aviv · hybrid
is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.
About The Role
• Our team is growing and we are looking for a Deployment Strategist to join our Professional Services team! In this role, you will own the full arc of our most strategic services engagements, from the first conversation about what AI could do for a customer's business, through the delivery that builds it, to the value they realize from it. You will scope and price the services that move an enterprise from AI ambition to AI running in production, support the sale of that work alongside the Account Owner, and orchestrate the consultants and engineers who deliver it. You will stay with the engagement well past the build, accountable for turning what the customer bought into AI that is genuinely doing their work.
Please note that this is a hybrid position with three days/week in our Tel Aviv office.
Responsibilities- Lead discovery with executives and process owners, then build the deployment strategy with them: which departments, workflows, and use cases move to intelligent, agent-driven execution on the monday AI work platform.
- Translate that strategy into a scoped and priced services engagement, owning packaging, effort and unit estimation, and the proposals and statements of work that carry it.
- Support the sale of services alongside the Account Owner, articulating the path from a customer's current state to AI in production for stakeholders from technical staff to executive sponsors.
- Define the work clearly enough for someone else to build it, capturing the outcome, the estimate, and the shape of the solution, then bring in the forward deployed consultants and engineers who execute it.
- Own timeline, budget, quality, risk, and commercial administration across your engagements, running one-time projects directly, overseeing execution on ongoing ones, and directing the resources assigned to you.
- Define the work plan with customers on ongoing engagements, deciding together which AI use cases to build next and in what sequence.
- Own AI value realization inside your engagements, tracking consumption against the plan agreed at sale and diagnosing where adoption gaps or unbuilt workflows hold it back.
- Identify and/or support the next outcome opportunity within your accounts, and drive the additional services needed to deliver it — expanding the engagement as new use cases and workflows are identified.
- Communicate status, risk, and progress to stakeholders at every level, manage escalations to resolution, and surface account risk and expansion signals to the Account Owner.
- Feed the practice from the field, contributing the patterns, estimation inputs, and playbooks that make each AI deployment faster than the last.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional services experience in delivery management, engagement management, or technical program management, with significant time in front of enterprise customers delivering successful strategic outcomes
- Experience in B2B SaaS scoping and delivering software implementation, transformation, or managed services engagements in complex enterprise environments, working in industry standard work management, project management, or CRM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Generative and Agentic AI tools, and a strong understanding of how AI changes the way work gets done.
- Commercial acumen sufficient to scope, price, and support the sale of services rather than simply deliver them, including effort estimation and statement of work authorship.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-based commercial models, and with holding a customer to the value they set out to achieve, is a strong plus.
- A track record of leading technical and non-technical delivery teams through influence, keeping the team aligned to a common goal.
- Technical fluency sufficient to be credible in an architecture conversation and to recognize when an engagement needs deeper expertise: how enterprise systems exchange data, and when a goal calls for software to be built rather than configured.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, able to establish credibility with executives, articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience, and frame business outcomes for a technical one.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to take initiative and adapt.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
