ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead a hands-on engineering team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics workspace. The platform helps users understand how AI agents work with their data, diagnose quality issues, and improve the business context behind agent responses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the team responsible for developing and improving the context platform.
- Set technical direction, review designs, and contribute directly to engineering work.
- Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar while helping them do their best work.
- Recruit and develop strong engineering talent.
- Help the team address challenges in debugging agent reasoning, managing business context, and balancing human feedback with automated improvement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.
- Experience managing teams of approximately 3 to 15 engineers.
- Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, beyond using AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.
- Background building technical products for technical users, such as developer tools, data products, or configurable software platforms.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment and a track record of sustained tenure in engineering roles.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent technical experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity details were not provided.
