About Doorways
Doorways provides practical assistance, support, and connection to people experiencing hardship. As a Doorways volunteer, you will play an important role in creating a positive and respectful experience for community members seeking support.
Volunteer Opportunities
As part of the Doorways team, you may assist with:
Welcoming and engaging with community members in a warm and respectful manner.
Providing information about available services and community resources.
Assisting with the distribution of emergency relief and practical support.
Supporting individuals and families experiencing financial or personal hardship.
Helping maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment.
Working alongside a dedicated team committed to serving the community.We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and life experiences. Whether you're retired, studying, working part-time, looking to give back to your community, or seeking new experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
The ideal volunteer will:
