Join a High-Impact Federal TeamWe are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support WAPA’s Office of Transmission Asset Planning and Management. In this role, you will provide administrative, travel, timekeeping, records, purchasing, recruitment, and program support while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient office operations.
This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability, exposure to federal programs and systems, and the ability to support a key operational department.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate staff travel, scheduling, meetings, and government vehicle reservations
- Provide backup timekeeping support and maintain work assignment logs
- Enter, track, and report data using Maximo, SharePoint, and other administrative systems
- Manage purchase requests, office expenses, travel expenses, and reconciliation documentation
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, policies, and other office documents
- Maintain electronic files, records, and sensitive or confidential information
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire documentation in coordination with Human Resources
- Maintain SharePoint and myWAPA program pages and assist with recurring office reports
- Provide general administrative support to staff and management as needed
QualificationsRequired- High School Diploma or GED
- Administrative or clerical experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Preferred- Federal government or WAPA/DOE experience
- Familiarity with Concur, ATAAPS, Maximo, or SharePoint
- Experience with travel, timekeeping, purchasing, records, or recruitment support
Security Clearance Requirement- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security credentials
- Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance
