Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).

The Chrome Scaled solutions team is part of the gTech Chrome and Web Ecosystem team supporting Chrome's vision of a healthy, vibrant web in this increasingly agentic world. We are a group of technical experts addressing the cross-product, incubation, activation and scale programs that are key to advancing the GTM goals of Chrome. By working with partners and developers, we aim to arm the ecosystem with the tools, incentives and products they need to succeed in the future of the web ecosystem.

As a Solutions Engineer on our team, you will be enabling Chrome to be the best browser for the Agentic AI era driving technical solutions, automation, data insights and technical needs for efficient operations across new and emerging product areas like Built-in AI, Agentic Web, Identity and Payments and help influence the trajectory of the entire web ecosystem by being the ecosystem.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $127000 - $182000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Serve as technical SME to operationalize and evaluate AI-assisted onboarding, troubleshooting and scaling workflows for chrome product area and ecosystem needs.

- Serve as technical expert in critical feedback loop bringing in insights from partner, developer and user feedback channels alongside product metrics trends in collaboration with product and engineering to influence Chrome product area strategy and roadmap.

- Partner with Business Development, Technical Program Management, Product, Engineer, gUP Partner Engineering and gUP horizontal Technical Solutions teams to identify scaling needs to streamline Chrome partner and developer journeys and drive operational efficiency.

- Drive knowledge dissemination, playbooks, best practices and guide engineering and product leaders as they plan their digital strategy, with clear implementation plans as it pertains to the web.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).

- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

- Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.

- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.

- Experience using machine learning and building solutions.

- Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
