North Jones Animal Hospital is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a passionate and driven veterinarian to help lead the transformation. Our established general practice is being remodeled and reimagined into a modern, high-quality urgent care clinic, and we’re seeking a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced, case-diverse environment and wants to be part of building something special from the ground up.

You’ll play a key role in shaping medical protocols, workflow, and culture while providing timely, compassionate care for non-life-threatening urgent cases. What You’ll Do
- Provide urgent care services including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures
- Triage incoming cases and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations
- Contribute to the development of protocols and standards as we grow into a full urgent care model
- Help foster a positive, team-oriented environment during this exciting transition

What We’re Looking For
- DVM or equivalent degree with eligibility for Mississippi licensure
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with confidence in urgent care or general practice medicine
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for building something new
- Interest in helping shape the future of a growing urgent care practice
- Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
- Proficient in general medicine and surgery
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
