AUD 800 to 850 a year

Salary: $800–$850 per day + superannuation

Our client has several business and technology initiatives moving through its investment portfolio and needs an experienced BA to add capacity to the team.

The Opportunity

You'll partner with business, product and technology stakeholders to clarify objectives, resolve ambiguity and shape requirements that delivery teams can act on.

This isn't a role where you're simply handed a predefined solution and asked to document it. If you see a better way to achieve the outcome, you'll be expected to raise it and work through the alternatives.

What You'll Be Working On

The first initiative involves enabling new products and external partners, including integration, configuration, transactions and reporting.

The second is focused on improving an operational process across a large asset base. You'll work through the end-to-end process, how an existing partner capability fits and what needs to be enabled internally across workflows, actions, tracking and follow-up.

How Technical Is It?

This role sits slightly towards the technical side of a traditional BA position, but not by much.

You'll need to understand APIs and be comfortable discussing integrations, configuration, workflows, data and system dependencies.

You won't be expected to design the technology. The stronger lens is business and product capability: understanding what the organisation is trying to achieve and what needs to change.

What You'll Bring

Your industry background matters less than the way you think.

You'll be naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity and pragmatic enough to know when further analysis is needed and when there is enough information to make a sound decision.

You'll bring strong BA experience across complex technology or change initiatives, with the confidence to operate independently and work with stakeholders ranging from subject matter experts through to senior business and technology leaders.

Experience from complex, product-rich or data-heavy environments will translate particularly well.

Working Arrangements

This is an initial six-month daily rate contract paying $800–$850 per day + superannuation, depending on relevant experience.

Sydney is preferred, although strong Melbourne-based candidates will also be considered.

You'll work on a hybrid basis with three days per week in the office.
