As a Lead Java Developer at Emergn you will build scalable, high-performance Java applications. You design, develop and maintain complex, scalable, high-performance Java applications. You will provide technical leadership and make sure deliverables align with best practices and business requirements.
Join our team and let’s change the game together!- Provide technical leadership in designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Mentor other developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- 8+ years of experience in Java development focused on high-performance applications, with strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful API development and front-end technologies such as Angular and React, with solid Angular experience.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), including AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, AWS Technical Essentials and AWS Solutions Architect Essentials.
- Knowledge of observability and New Relic, including New Relic Observability Foundations and Observability Practitioner.
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience in technical leadership, project management and agile methodologies, with clear communication of technical solutions.
- Claude Code experience and an agentic mindset.
You might also have:- Experience in microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Advanced knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
