Commissioning Manager

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for a Commissioning Manager to join our Montgomery, AL team.
We're looking for a hands-on technical leader with proven commissioning experience in data center or mission-critical environments, ready to take full ownership of complex commissioning efforts in the field.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive commissioning plan and integrated schedule covering inspection, startup, testing, and closeout phases
- Lead commissioning field activities and direct internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring safety compliance with NFPA 70E and LOTO requirements
- Implement and oversee commissioning management software — BIM360, ACC Build, and CxAlloy — to track documentation and execution
- Coordinate with the client and client's commissioning agent to define project-specific requirements, test scripts, and turnover documentation
- Manage technical reviews, including MEP systems, QA/QC coordination, load bank planning, equipment startup, and factory witness testing
- Act as subject matter expert in design reviews, scope matrix development, budgeting, and script feasibility for high-performance building systems
