The Role
As our Leasing Officer, you’ll play an important role in helping Vinnies Housing grow the availability of safe and sustainable housing for people in need across Queensland.
Working within the Service Enablement team, you’ll take an active role in sourcing new properties, building relationships with real estate agents and property owners, and progressing leasing opportunities from initial enquiry through to agreement. You’ll also coordinate lease renewals, documentation and compliance requirements across our growing portfolio of leased properties.
This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things moving. You’ll proactively identify new property opportunities, follow up with external stakeholders, monitor upcoming lease requirements and risks, and ensure actions are progressed in a timely manner. Working closely with internal teams, real estate agents, property owners and other stakeholders, you’ll help maintain a responsive and well-managed leasing portfolio while contributing directly to Vinnies Housing’s purpose of increasing access to housing for people who need it most.
If you have experience in property, leasing, real estate, housing or contract coordination and are looking for an opportunity to apply those skills in a role with genuine community impact, we’d love to hear from you.
