The Senior Property Manager is responsible for the overall management, operation and financial performance of a High-Profile Tenant Headquarters and serves as the operational leader for the Harbor Point campus property management platform. This position directs all aspects of property operations, budgeting, tenant relations, capital planning, lease administration and building services while ensuring exceptional service delivery to tenants and ownership. The Senior Property Manager also establishes operational standards across the Harbor Point campus, provides guidance and oversight to property management personnel, coordinates campus-wide initiatives and drives continuous improvement throughout the portfolio. This role serves as a strategic partner to ownership and Asset Management to maximize asset value and tenant satisfaction while maintaining first-class operational performance.
Qualifications
- Strong analytic skills, including real estate operations and budget formulation; familiarity with property management financial documents and processes; in-depth and hands-on understanding of property management systems and processes.
- Ability to provide inspired and positive supervision and management of staff, including a team-oriented approach and successful track record of developing effective working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and consultants.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to comfortably interact with both in-house staff and outside contacts.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to work independently and take strong initiative.
- Ability to respond to sensitive issues.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of real estate financial principles, lease language and terms.
- Minimum eight years of commercial property management experience, including experience managing Class A office assets and supervising management and engineering personnel.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Advanced knowledge of Yardi, MRI, Kardin or equivalent property management and accounting software is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a concentration in real estate, construction, management, or business-related degree.
- RPA, CPM, or other real estate designation preferred
Working conditions
The employee will be required to sit at a desk for long periods of time; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
