Software Engineer Systems Engineering AI Tooling

You will build internal tools, AI workflows, backend services, and APIs for systems engineering and validation. You will integrate engineering data for traceability, develop dashboards and KPIs, evolve traceability data models, productionize certifiable systems, and support compliance and safety-case development.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and productionize internal tools and AI workflows for systems engineering and validation
- Integrate requirements, modeling, and validation data for end-to-end traceability
- Build backend services and APIs for engineering artifacts
- Develop dashboards and KPIs for coverage, traceability, and validation progress
- Own and evolve the traceability data model
- Refactor prototypes into reliable, access-controlled, auditable production systems
- Support compliance and safety-case development
- Scale internal tooling for production programs and regulatory needs
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend software development, internal tooling, or platform engineering
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or C/C++
- Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and API integration
- Experience building scalable backend services and working with CI/CD pipelines
- Systems thinking across complex cross-functional technical domains
