We are currently recruiting for the position of Team Lead Second Shift: Schedule (Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM).
The tasks and responsibilities required for the Team Leader are outlined below:
- Inbound responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading, transporting and put-away of product to include the assignment of trucks to doors.
- Outbound responsibilities include the picking, transporting, and loading of product to include sealing of trailers and proper staging of outbound loads.
- Provides leadership and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development of employees.
- Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to the management.
- Provides Shift Supervisor with feedback on employee performance for evaluations; provides continual feedback of both positive and negative performance.
- Assists the Shift Supervisor with identifying and resolving process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow.
- Assists the warehouse employees with resolving work/process problems.
- Examine and monitor warehouse employees work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to quality standards, common practices, and procedures.
- Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with employees.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
