Commercial Product Specialist

We are searching for a Commercial Product Specialist for a full-time position with the earliest possible start date.
The role of the Commercial Product Specialist is part of the Netherlands sales organization. You will be one of the central points of contact for our resellers, DSOs, and opinion leaders. Besides recognizing commercial opportunities, you will be responsible for training, demos, and similar activities across the 3Shape product portfolio in the Netherlands to ensure that our innovative 3Shape solutions are sustainably anchored in the market.
You will join a small team of five professionals who work from our office in Haarlem, supporting our resellers in the sale of our high-end scanners and software solutions. You will combine customer visits with office days, split between working from home and our office in Haarlem.
Together with the Senior Sales Executive, to whom you report, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with our resellers, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), and KOLs.
Who are we looking for?
You are a commercially minded, customer-focused, and persuasive professional who can inspire dental professionals and resellers to embrace TRIOS, Dental System, and other related 3Shape solutions.
You combine strong presentation, advisory, and relationship-building skills with sufficient technical and digital aptitude to quickly understand products and workflows and explain them professionally.
Technical expertise or specialist CAD/CAM knowledge is a primary selection criterion. Commercial awareness and the ability to identify customer needs, build trust, and clearly translate product functionality into tangible customer benefits are also important.
Your responsibilities
- Providing training, consultancy, and product demos to 3Shape customers. Customer groups can include resellers and/or end users (dentists and lab technicians).
- Playing a key role in obtaining feedback and input from the Dutch market and sharing it with Product Management and R&D.
- Facilitating the understanding and usage of our products through classroom training, webinars, and remote training initiatives.
- Participating in trade fairs, congresses, and customer events.
- Identifying and leveraging new business opportunities together with our resellers.
Your profile
- You have experience using the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner.
- Experience with dental CAD/CAM and specifically with 3Shape hardware and software, including TRIOS and lab solutions, will be beneficial.
- Experience as a Product Specialist, Trainer, or Application Specialist within the dental industry is a plus.
- Your work experience has given you extensive knowledge of and insight into the work and needs of dentists and dental technicians.
- You are a native Dutch speaker and have fluent English skills.
- You are enthusiastic about traveling and have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships based on trust and respect.
- You thrive on detailed, creative tasks such as developing training materials, and enjoy being in the spotlight, training, guiding, and supporting customers as a subject matter expert.
- You are positive, empathetic, and possess strong intercultural skills.
