ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an engineering team building AI automation for the insurance brokerage sector. This hands-on, customer-facing role combines software development with customer scoping, turning business workflows into deployed solutions and bringing successful work back into the platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own enterprise implementations from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Build and ship AI agents and automations that address customer workflows.
- Work with customers after sale to understand business problems and scope technical solutions.
- Deliver working solutions rapidly, often within a week of customer conversations.
- Integrate successful customer-specific work into the core platform.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to turn customer insights into scalable features.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to six years of software engineering, implementation, solutions, forward deployed, or product engineering experience.
- Full-stack experience, with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience balancing hands-on coding with customer-facing scoping and requirements gathering.
- A track record of shipping multiple customer-facing features or automations for enterprise customers, including post-sale work delivered quickly.
- Startup experience, including work at a Series A or later company, and no software consulting background.
- Experience building or deploying AI, LLM, or agentic workflows in production is a plus.
- Insurance or financial services experience is helpful, along with strong ownership and the ability to switch between customer communication and focused engineering work.
- A degree from a strong university or equivalent academic background, and substantive US work experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $180,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
