Aquatech is immediately hiring a full-time Principal Business Development Engineer based anywhere in the U.S.
Job Description:

Harmonizing our microelectronics distributed databases between Century Water and Aquatech to develop and manage databases pertaining to each unit operations of a flow sheet involved in both UPW and WWT with respect to AVL/ Process Sizing/ Costing.

Participating in meetings with potential customers in Microelectronics struggling to formulate a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) soliciting bids for water and wastewater treatment systems and guide to helping such potential customers to develop a concept design to be succeeded by paid “Engineering Services Agreement (ESA)” from us which facilitate them to develop a formal RFP or preferably procure directly from us on exclusivity basis.

Review customer inputs to formulate “Design Basis Report (DBR)” for concept development with a clear project objective in discussion with client representatives.

Develop multiple design alternatives with appropriate “Block Flow Diagram (BFD)” incorporating critical expected performance data for each design alternative.

Perform concept-design stage process calculations to properly size non-thermal treatment processes and equipment for selected design configurations.

Facilitate internal review of concept-design stage sizing of non-thermal treatment processes and equipment for selected design configurations with appropriate application team (Century Water or AIC) as deemed appropriate by management team.

Coordinate concept-design stage process calculations with ICD group to properly size thermal treatment processes and equipment for selected design configuration.

Coordinate and participate in necessary laboratory or pilot testing deemed necessary for any proposed process configuration in the concept-design.

Develop concept-design stage Process Flow Diagram (PFD) utilizing draftsperson from appropriate application team (Century Water or AIC) as part of the concept note (CN) submissions.

Develop a budgetary cost estimate for the proposed system utilizing resources from “Cost Estimation” team in Century Water or AIC.

Compile a comprehensive “Concept Note (CN)” as final deliverable for concept design.

Organize “Workshop on Concept Note Process Evaluation” with relevant stakeholders from both client representatives and relevant Century Water and/or AIC team members, and secure client decision on selecting best process configuration for continuing work during next intended phase of “Engineering Services Agreement (ESA)”.

Draft “Engineering Services Agreement (ESA)” proposal to be submitted to clients for securing paid preliminary process development activities with scope of work outlined by client in the “Workshop on Concept Note Process Evaluation”, where appropriate.

Assist Sales and Business Development team in responding to customer queries.
