What you’ll do?

As a Level 2 Systems Engineer, you’ll provide hands-on technology support at customer sites, helping maintain reliable systems and resolve day-to-day technical issues. You’ll initially focus on leave-coverage assignments, moving between customer environments according to operational needs. This full-time role suits an adaptable support professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers and building broad experience across Microsoft, server, device and network environments.

- Provide onsite end-user support across operating systems, applications and devices.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, system and service issues.

- Support Microsoft environments including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure.

- Configure and support mobile device management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Jamf.

- Assist with Windows Server, VMware, Veeam and backup environments.

- Support network infrastructure, connectivity and configuration activities.

- Document technical solutions, configurations and standard operating procedures.

- Work with service desk, project and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.

- Identify opportunities to improve customer systems and support processes.

- Deliver leave coverage at customer sites, including assignments arranged at short notice.

What you’ll bring?

- Experience in desktop support, infrastructure support, systems administration or a related technical role.

- Practical troubleshooting capability across operating systems, applications and devices.

- Experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

- Exposure to Windows Server, Azure or hybrid infrastructure environments.

- Familiarity with networking, mobile device management, virtualisation or backup technologies.

- Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills.

- The ability to adapt quickly to different customer environments and priorities.

- A disciplined approach to documentation and technical processes.

- Availability to work full-time onsite at customer locations, sometimes with as little as 24 hours’ notice.

- Experience in a managed service provider, technology reseller or professional services environment will be highly regarded.

What else do you need to apply?

- Travel on-site to our client sites across Melbourne.

- Must be an Australian resident available to work full-time hours without restrictions.
