merge · New York, NY; San Francisco, CA · onsite
Merge is the leading provider of agentic tools and customer-facing integrations for frontier LLMs, Fortune 500 organizations, and B2B SaaS companies. Our platform offers three core products: Merge Unified, which enables businesses to add hundreds of integrations to their products with a single API, Merge Agent Handler, which empowers AI agents with secure access to thousands of third-party tools, and Merge Gateway, the control plane for running AI in production. Merge's enterprise-grade platform handles the entire integration lifecycle, from authentication and security to monitoring and maintenance. Thousands of companies trust Merge to accelerate product development, unblock sales, reduce customer churn, and save engineering resources—allowing them to focus on their core product.
Merge for Workforce helps companies give employees access to AI while controlling the tools agents use, the data they can reach, and the cost of running them.
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own where Merge for Workforce goes next. Today, the offering brings together Agent Handler, which governs agent access to tools, and Gateway, which routes and controls model usage. The product and the market are still taking shape. You will decide what we build, work closely with customers to test those decisions, and get into the details as we ship.
What will you be doing?
- Own the product direction for Merge for Workforce. Develop a clear view of the customer, the buyer, and the problems we should solve first.
- Spend time with IT and AI leaders, as well as employees using AI at work. Turn what you learn into product decisions and a roadmap the team can execute.
- Work with engineering and design on access, permissions, security, model routing, and the user experience. Write the spec, review the flow, test the product, and help clear obstacles when work gets stuck.
- Partner with sales and customer teams on early deals and deployments. Learn where customers struggle, fix what you can, and use that evidence to sharpen the product.
- Follow how people use AI at work and where the market is heading. Form your own opinions, explain them clearly, and update them when the evidence changes.
- Make hard choices about scope. Know when a small fix will help a customer now and when the team needs to build something more fundamental.
What you bring
- You use AI every day. You follow new models and products closely and have a point of view on where enterprise AI is going.
- You have strong product taste. You spot confusing flows and weak solutions before customers do.
- You take ownership. You find the customer, make the call, and do the work needed to move things forward.
- You get into the details. You write specs, test the product, and work through tough tradeoffs with engineers.
- You care deeply about the work. You follow through until the product works for customers.
- You hold strong opinions and change them when the evidence does.
Compensation
- The cash compensation range for this role is $180,000-$235,000, leveling dependent (to be determined through the interview process)
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.
