Job Summary
Resources department and serving as a strategic operational partner to leaders and employees across the organization. This role provides leadership and support across employee relations, performance management, HR operations, compliance support, policy administration, investigations, and team development while helping drive consistency, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
The HR Manager directly supervises HR Generalists, HR Coordinators, and other assigned HR support staff and serves as the primary operational leader for the HR team. This position partners closely with the VP of Human Resources to execute organizational initiatives, strengthen HR infrastructure, and support business growth.
Essential Functions
- Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of Human Resources functions and team activities
- Directly supervise HR Generalists, HR Coordinators, and other assigned HR support staff
- Coach and support managers on employee relations, performance management, accountability, corrective action, and policy interpretation
- Assist in managing employee relations matters including investigations, workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and performance issues
- Oversee workload distribution, prioritization, and daily HR workflow management to ensure responsiveness and operational effectiveness
- Review and support corrective action documentation, performance improvement plans, and termination recommendations
- Ensure consistency, professionalism, and compliance across HR practices, documentation, and employee support processes
- Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Support organizational compliance initiatives related to employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Assist with leave administration coordination and accommodation processes in partnership with designated vendors and HR leadership
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and operational leaders to support workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and staffing initiatives
- Support organizational restructuring, workforce changes, and change management initiatives
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of HR systems, policies, procedures, and training initiatives
- Monitor HR operational trends and identify process improvement opportunities
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee and business matters
- Support special projects, acquisitions, integrations, audits, and organizational initiatives as assigned
- Partner closely with the VP of Human Resources to support departmental and organizational goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
- Prior employee relations and performance management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR operations, and HR best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Healthcare, DME, multi-site, or rapidly growing organization experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a standard office environment.
- Routinely utilize standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and video conferencing technology.
- Responsibilities require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, frequent verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Occasional travel may be required to support meetings, training initiatives, investigations, acquisitions, or operational support activities.
- The ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds may be required.
