Overview

In partnership with the Marketing Communications team, design, develop, and deliver a broad range of visual communications that effectively convey brand messages across print, digital, and multimedia channels. Support the achievement of commercial objectives by creating impactful marketing materials, advancing brand standards, and contributing to programs that promote the organization, its products, and its capabilities while maintaining and evolving brand integrity.

Education & Experience Requirements

- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Visual Communication and Design or other related field, required.

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe AfterEffects).

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

- Design knowledge that applies to the limitations of the Internet and digital media.

- Familiarity and compliance with industry standards, practices, and procedures.

- Strong knowledge of common printing processes.

Job Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Marketing Communications team members to develop creative concepts and visual solutions that support marketing and business objectives.

- Design, produce, and maintain graphic content for print and digital advertising, social media, trade show exhibits, product promotions, and other marketing communications initiatives for Fort Wayne Metals and affiliated companies.

- Ensure consistent application and ongoing development of Fort Wayne Metals and affiliated company brands, safeguarding brand standards across all communication channels.

- Create icons, illustrations, infographics, and other visual assets for use across digital and traditional media platforms.

- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Engineering, Research & Development, and other business functions, to develop customer-focused and commercially effective marketing materials for internal and external audiences.

- Design and produce basic motion graphics and animations for digital communication channels.

- Support and, when appropriate, lead photography and videography initiatives, including planning, execution, and post-production activities.

- Perform photography, image editing, and retouching as needed to support marketing and corporate communication objectives.

- Provide visual design guidance to the Corporate Communications team and review work produced by external agencies and service providers to ensure alignment with brand standards and quality expectations.

- Stay current with graphic design trends, technologies, and best practices and recommend improvements where appropriate.

- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills Needed

- High degree of creativity and a strong design sense.

- Must be able to work with limited supervision.

- Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to successfully collaborate with team members and absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Video production and editing skills preferred, but not required

- Photography skills preferred, but not required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Fast-paced office environment.

- Work hours consist of 40 hours per week.

- Overtime may sometimes be necessary.
