A bit about the role

As Event Logistics Manager, you will be working closely with the entire operations team to deliver the events to the highest quality of event delivery across all operational components, internally and externally facing. You will be contributing to show budgets and operational plans for each event. This is a mid-level position for someone looking to build their career in events.

As part of your job, you’ll be:

- Work alongside and assist the Head of Operations across portfolio of EMEA events

- Develop and execute project plans for smooth event fulfilment from pre-show planning to onsite delivery

- Collaborative and pragmatic approach to working with stakeholders and internally across Content, Sales, Marketing, Retailer & Consumer Brand Teams, Event Operations and Finance departments in order to effectively deliver event objectives

- Acting as the main point of contact for suppliers, replying to all queries in a timely manner and providing them with all necessary information and deadlines throughout the duration of the show cycle

- Managing and maintaining cost tracker with good financial acumen.

- Manage floorplan layouts alongside sponsor operations team with the relevant personnel ensuring they are correct according to all venue and local authority regulations and are in line with the show's strategies.

- Manage supplier build relationships

- Support with training and development of the Operations Executive

- Continually provide the best possible customer service for our customers and stakeholders.

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

- At least 2-3+ years experience in an event management role

- Experience in a client-facing role with a natural and professional style with customers

- Experience in a project delivery role with the ability to manage multiple projects

- Floorplan management experience – creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting space requirements

- Ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under strict time management

- Great attention to detail and time management skills

- Able in multitask and manage workload in an efficient manner

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

- Problem solver, with a positive can-do attitude

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications and planning management systems

- Desire and ability to travel for work

- Health & Safety training is an advantage – IOSH preferred
