Your Route Into Business Analysis

Welcome to Via Logic, where innovation meets collaboration. We are seeking a Business and Data Analyst with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience and hands-on Salesforce platform experience to support our federal government client. In this role, you’ll connect program needs with technical delivery, helping teams understand business processes, define requirements, and improve applications and workflows. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, developers, Quality Engineers, and other technical team members to translate complex needs into clear, actionable requirements and reliable solutions. Our work supports public assistance, recovery support, grants management, and mitigation-related processes. Experience supporting these programs or working with state and local governments is preferred. This is a great opportunity for an analyst who enjoys understanding how programs operate, asking thoughtful questions, and helping teams deliver technology that makes complex work easier.

- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Develop and refine epics, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria that give development and testing teams a shared understanding of expected functionality.

- Technical Liaison: Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, explaining program needs, resolving questions, and helping ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations.

- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze application and program data, clarify reporting needs, identify inconsistencies, and help teams define useful reports and dashboards.

- Testing & Validation: Partner with Quality Engineering and business users to validate requirements, support user acceptance testing, document defects, and confirm that delivered functionality meets business needs.

- Documentation & Traceability: Maintain business requirements, process flows, data mappings, decision records, and other documentation that connects stakeholder needs to delivered functionality.

- Agile Collaboration: Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and other Agile activities. Coordinate with analysts and technical teams to support consistent functionality across products.
