We are looking for an Applied Researcher, specializing in Computer Vision, to join our TLV based team.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy production-grade AI systems for image and video understanding, combining computer vision, vision-language models (VLMs), and multimodal foundation models.
- Design end-to-end pipelinesfrom problem framing and prototyping to evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Develop capabilities for visual search, recognition, and temporal understanding, turning visual data into useful insights and product experiences
- Work closely with product and engineering to translate complex customer needs into scalable AI solutions.
- Improve accuracy, robustness, latency, and efficiency through model selection, prompt engineering, rigorous evaluation, and model optimization.
- Own real-world visual AI challenges from research through production, with meaningful customer impact.
RequirementsWho are you?
- M.Sc. in CS, EE, Math, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems to production, with a strong focus on computer vision.
- Strong experience with modern vision and multimodal models, including VLMs, visual embeddings, and image or video understanding.
- Solid understanding of core computer vision methods and the ability to combine specialized models with foundation models.
- Fluent with modern AI tooling, including frontier models, prompt design, and structured outputs, with hands-on experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI agents as an integral part of your development workflow.
- Strong engineering skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable, production quality code that others can easily read, extend, and trust.
- Experience deploying and optimizing models on cloud and/or on-premises GPU infrastructure.
- Strong product intuition and systems thinking, with the ability to balance model performance, reliability, and practical constraints.
- An ownership mindset and the ability to operate independently.
