WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support the technology for global payroll across countries supported by our core and third-party payroll platforms, helping ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
- Analyze end-to-end payroll processes and translate business needs into clear system requirements, configuration updates, integration changes, and control enhancements
- Support payroll cycles by triaging production issues, resolving data defects, validating results, and coordinating urgent fixes before payroll close
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations across payroll, human resources, finance, banking, benefits, equity, time, and tax-related systems
- Partner with global payroll teams to manage calendars, cutoffs, approvals, funding timelines, bank files, payslips, reporting, and reconciliations
- Configure, test, and maintain payroll-related system functionality, including pay groups, pay components, deductions, payroll inputs, accounting, and payslip setup
- Lead testing for releases, country rollouts, statutory updates, and process improvements, including test scripts, defect tracking, regression testing, and go-live readiness
- Reconcile payroll outputs across source and target systems, identify variances, and strengthen audit controls for sensitive employee and banking data
- Maintain documentation for payroll processes, integrations, data mappings, runbooks, test evidence, issue logs, and country-specific operating procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver resilient payroll systems
WHAT'S REQUIRED
- At least 7 years of experience in payroll systems, human resources systems, or payroll operations within a multinational organization
- Hands-on experience with human capital management and payroll platforms such as Workday, including business processes, security roles, worker data, payroll inputs, and payroll results
- Experience supporting outsourced payroll processing through providers such as CloudPay, including input templates, validations, payroll previews, variance analysis, approvals, statutory outputs, banking files, and payslips
- Strong understanding of multi-country payroll processes, including gross-to-net calculations, taxes, benefits, pensions, garnishments, retro pay, final pay, and year-end processing
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot integrations using payroll data files, secure file transfers, application interfaces, field mapping, effective dating, error handling, and reconciliation controls
- Working knowledge of payroll compliance and controls, including data privacy, approval controls, segregation of duties, audit trails, statutory deadlines, and secure data handling
- Experience supporting system changes through requirements gathering, functional specifications, configuration support, test scripts, user acceptance testing, release management, and post-production support
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and manage priorities across regions and time zones

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$225,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
