From qualifying leads and understanding exposures to presenting coverage recommendations and closing business, you'll guide prospects through the sales process with clear communication and knowledgeable support.

You'll support a specific operational pillar, such as Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Marketing, CBU, or another specialty area, and report to that pillar's Director. Working closely with Renewal, Service, and Account Support teams, you'll help ensure each new client experiences a smooth transition from initial consultation through policy implementation and ongoing service.

How You'll Make an Impact

- Generate new business through inbound leads, referrals, cross-sell opportunities, and other sales initiatives.

- Manage the full sales lifecycle, including lead qualification, client consultation, proposal development, and closing new business.

- Conduct needs-based assessments to understand client and prospect exposures and recommend appropriate coverage options.

- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations clearly and professionally.

- Follow up consistently on new business opportunities and marketing-generated leads to support conversion and sales growth.

- Maintain individual sales performance metrics and contribute to overall team production goals.

- Partner with Renewal Specialists to pursue cross-sell opportunities identified during the renewal process.

- Collaborate with Service Specialists and Account Support Associates to support accurate applications, policy setup, and a smooth transition into ongoing service.

- Collect application information, prepare documentation, and submit complete and accurate materials to carriers in accordance with agency procedures and applicable compliance standards.

- Maintain current pipeline, activity, and client records within the Agency Management System and other tracking tools.

- Respond to carrier communications and underwriting requests related to new business submissions.

- Participate in sales meetings, training, and team huddles to stay aligned on sales strategies, carrier updates, and performance goals.

- Pursue continuing education to strengthen your knowledge of insurance products, carriers, and industry trends.

- Support marketing and business development initiatives that generate new leads.

- Protect confidential employee and client information and follow ethical standards throughout the sales process.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

About Patriot Growth Insurance Services

At Patriot, we build our teams around a simple idea: people do their best work when they feel supported as whole people, not just managed as employees. We're invested in your growth, not just your output, and we back that up with a competitive salary and a comprehensive health and welfare program that extends to your family and domestic partners too, because who you're building a life with matters to us as much as the work you do.

Founded in 2019, Patriot is a growth-focused national insurance services firm that partners with employee benefits and property and casualty agencies across the United States. We're currently ranked the 25th-largest broker in the U.S. by Business Insurance and were named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. With over 2,100 employees operating in 150+ locations across more than 45 states, our collaborative model gives every person and every agency the resources and support they need to grow, while each agency keeps its own identity, culture, and way of doing business. That growth has never been about numbers alone; it's about the people behind them.
