Full-Stack Engineer

What You'll Do- Participate in end-to-end feature development, growing social and gameplay systems.
- Own features from concept through release and monitoring.
- Implement frontend functionality in JavaScript across iOS, Android, and Web.
- Compose and build backend services and APIs in PHP to power new gameplay, social, and LiveOps features.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs consumed by client applications.
- Contribute to data modeling and persistence for player progression, rewards, and events.
- Improve backend efficiency to handle high concurrency and sizable player populations.
- Ensure features are reliable, testable, and production-ready.
- Assess and optimize frontend and backend performance to provide a fluid player experience.
- Partner with Product to scope technical solutions and make pragmatic tradeoffs.
- Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on player behavior and metrics.
- Translate creative concepts into engaging, scalable systems.
- Help foster an inclusive engineering atmosphere dedicated to education and constant progress.
- Proactively find opportunities to improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices.
What We're Looking For- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript in production environments.
- Experience building backend services in a live environment.
- Experience crafting and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of client-server architecture.
- Experience contributing to features through the full development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a player-first approach.
Nice-to-Have- Experience developing backend services in PHP (strongly preferred).
- Experience working within an existing PHP codebase.
- Experience building gameplay systems such as events, rewards, progression, or social mechanics.
- Experience in mobile gaming, social casino, or Games-as-a-Service environments.
- Familiarity with experimentation, feature flags, or live feature delivery.
- Mobile development experience (iOS and/or Android).
