Your Impact
As a Network Engineer, you will help design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the network infrastructure that keeps Accelevation connected. You will support secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across the enterprise while working with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, authentication services, and related infrastructure.
This mid-level individual contributor role combines hands-on technical execution with troubleshooting, project support, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to strengthen network performance, security, and resiliency as Accelevation continues to scale.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and authentication services
- Support network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure changes across Accelevation locations
- Evaluate the impact of proposed infrastructure changes and develop implementation plans that minimize business disruption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define requirements, coordinate resources, and execute network projects
- Ensure network architecture and configurations align with established security, access control, encryption, and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, configuration, and security issues
- Monitor network traffic, availability, capacity, and performance to identify potential issues before they impact operations
- Implement proactive measures that improve network reliability, scalability, and resiliency
- Support network infrastructure within data center, office, and manufacturing environments
- Assist with network cabling, connectivity, and supporting infrastructure requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, diagrams, procedures, and standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen network operations, standardization, automation, and supportability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting network infrastructure engineering, design, implementation, and administration
- Strong understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and authentication services
- Working knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and communication technologies
- Experience troubleshooting network performance, connectivity, and scalability issues
- Experience participating in network infrastructure deployments, upgrades, or large-scale technology projects
- Understanding of network security principles, access controls, firewalls, encryption, and related compliance requirements
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including network cabling, power distribution, and environmental considerations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
- Ability to manage priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works across office, technology, and operational environments and requires regular use of computers, network equipment, and related infrastructure. Employees may need to move throughout company facilities to install, inspect, troubleshoot, or support networking equipment. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of computer work as well as standing, walking, reaching, bending, and frequent use of hands when working with network equipment and cabling. Employees may occasionally need to lift, carry, install, or relocate technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment generally has moderate noise levels, with occasional work in data rooms, manufacturing areas, or other operational environments. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when entering designated production areas.
