Digital Marketing & Communications Officer

We're looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to support the delivery of how our internal and external audiences perceive and interact with WISE. You will be one of the main points of contact for our many communities, delivering day-to-day digital marketing and communications activity, driving engagement and starting positive conversations in our digital spaces.

A day in the role involves…

Social media

- Overall responsibility for WISE online community management (excluding WISE social enterprises), social media handbook and correct use of social media across WISE

- Manage the day-to-day execution of social media content plans, including content preparation, scheduling, publishing and monitoring, delivering engaging content and timely communications aligned to organisational priorities and audience needs.

Including:

- Amplifying organic content through paid social based on campaign objectives

- Coordinate assets, content, timelines and channel activity to support integrated marketing initiatives

- Support the Marketing & Communications Manager in translating monthly performance insights into actionable recommendations to optimise strategy and performance across all platforms.

Including:

- Tracking and analysing key engagement and conversion metrics to support data-driven decision making

- Identifying trends and opportunities across campaign and channel performance.

Digital marketing

- Produce a high-quality monthly email marketing newsletter to send to the subscriber base

- Manage email lists and automation workflows to ensure subscribers are current and receiving relevant communications

- Support the Marketing & Communications Manager to manage website content, including maintenance and monitoring of web forms.

- Responsibility for WISE Google listings, including monitoring of reviews, address updates and creation.

Content creation

- Support the delivery of SEO-led content to support audience education, organic acquisition and conversion.

- Support the delivery of the SEO roadmap and associated priorities

- Support with creation of video content for social media, including sourcing talent, filming and editing, as well as reviewing externally created video content

Strategy and campaigns

- Support the implementation of the marketing strategy and tactics for your area, including driving campaign and content planning, audience targeting, messaging and channel selection informed by performance insights

- Generate ideas for and contribute to the planning of marketing campaigns, including content and asset development.

- Support the delivery of digital campaigns across key initiatives, working with agency and internal resources

- Support campaign performance tracking and optimisation across key initiatives, using insights to inform strategic direction and future planning.

Marketing & Communications

- Proactively find innovative ways to promote WISE's services and provide creative solutions to marketing problems

- Coordinate and deliver the promotion of internal and external events across WISE’s digital channels, including social media listings, creative coordination and organic social promotion, managing timelines, stakeholders and deliverables

- Provide marketing support to internal stakeholders across WISE, maximise partnership opportunities through marketing and communications activities, implement partnership media plans and content activations

- Provide support across the team where needed including monitoring inboxes, invoice processing and ad hoc requests.

- Responsibility for distributing feedback from customers to WISE frontline team.
