The opportunity
Due to the continued growth and workload, we are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Carrara workshop. Although initially a casual role, there is opportunity to lead to a permanent full-time role for the right candidate. This is a fast-paced, industrial factory setting, with a high functioning and collaborative team.
About You
- Current QLD Electrical licence and CPR/LVR
- Proven experience with industrial plant and equipment or transferable skill's
- A meticulous thinker who puts safety first and takes pride in their work
- Current W@H & EWP Licence (Desirable)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or autonomously
- Well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- General repair and preventative maintenance of manufacturing plant and equipment
- Problem solving of breakdowns related to electrical issues
- Testing and tagging of electrical components
- Installation and rectification of general electrical components
- Completing work within scheduled timeframes
- Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations
