Robot Infrastructure Engineer Collection Tooling

You will build tools that capture reliable robot demonstrations and human corrections. You will create teleoperation workflows, validate collection quality, ingest partner data, preserve reproducible recordings, track coverage, and test and document workflows on real robots.

Responsibilities- Build teleoperation and operator tools for robot interfaces

- Implement episode workflows for instructions, resets, annotations, labels, and human takeover

- Build collection quality checks for recordings, timestamps, signals, calibration, and episodes

- Build collection specifications and partner-data adapters

- Keep raw recordings reproducible and exportable to training formats

- Track collection progress and task coverage

- Test collection tooling on real robots and document setup and troubleshooting

Requirements- 1+ years of professional experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

- Experience building and validating data-collection, teleoperation, sensor-recording, or human-in-the-loop tooling on real robots or autonomous systems

- Python

- Software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, testing, versioned schemas, and data-pipeline debugging

- Experience with multimodal time-series data

- Knowledge of coordinate frames, sensor calibration, and data provenance

- Experience building tools for users

- Ability to create executable collection workflows
