Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
- Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
- Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
- Manage problems and schedule changes
- Update ERP system
- Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
- Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
- Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
- Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
- Very good written and oral English skills
