Zions Bancorporation Enterprise Recruiting team is looking for a Senior Campus Recruiting & University Relations Specialist to lead campus strategy, pipeline development, and full-cycle recruiting, primarily across Utah and Idaho.
This role serves as a strategic business partner to intern managers, department heads, and senior executives across commercial banking, technology, and capital markets. In this role, you will foster long-term university partnerships and lead recruiting for our Zions Banker Development Program (BDP), Summer Internship Program, and assist with Capital Markets recruiting.
Responsibilities\:
- Strategic University Relations - Establish and maintain relationships with university career centers, department chairs, faculty, and student-run professional organizations across core regional institutions (including University of Utah, Utah State University, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, Westminster, Weber State, Southern Utah University, and Utah Tech).
- Design and execute a robust annual recruiting calendar encompassing career fairs, on-campus and virtual information sessions, classroom presentations, executive panels, and networking events.
- Select and train business leaders and campus alumni ambassadors to represent Zions Bancorporation effectively at on-campus recruiting and interview events.
- Banker Development Program (BDP), Summer Internship, and Capital Markets Recruiting & Programmatic Support- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Zions Bank Banker Development Program (BDP) internship cohorts, and assist with Capital Markets recruiting, from sourcing and initial screening through hire.
- Design, coordinate, and oversee the Summer Intern Program experience, including executive speaker series, professional development seminars, and social events.
- Oversee mid-summer and end-of-program performance evaluations with managers, facilitating structure review cycles and managing the direct offer conversion pipeline for graduating seniors.
Qualifications\:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional recruiting, university relations, corporate campus talent acquisition, or officer development program management experience (or equivalent combination of education and related experience).
- Prior experience managing high-volume campus hiring programs across a variety of business lines.
- Outstanding interpersonal, consultative, and relationship-management skills. Proven ability to gain trust and partner effectively with executives, faculty leaders, and university candidates.
- Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and closing skills in competitive candidate offer scenarios.
- Demonstrated organizational capability to plan, logistics-manage, and execute large-scale on-campus visits, interview days, and structured summer internship activities.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, comfortable addressing large audiences, student panels, and executive committees.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and peak-season regional travel to partner universities.
