ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the mobile team at a consumer marketplace startup and help build and scale its iOS app. You will own features from concept through launch and shape a polished experience for creators.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship native iOS features in Swift, owning the development lifecycle from idea to launch.
- Define and evolve the app architecture as the mobile team grows.
- Create fast, polished interfaces and interactions for users.
- Investigate production issues and improve app reliability and performance.
- Establish engineering practices and standards for mobile development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 5 or more years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, Xcode, and software architecture.
- Experience building and scaling iOS apps, using MVVM or similar patterns.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Experience contributing to a consumer product at a startup, growth-stage company, or design-focused organization.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently amid ambiguity, and deliver end-to-end product outcomes.
- Strong product judgment and attention to detail in UI and user experience.
- Experience with marketplace or gamified consumer products is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
