Data Administration Apprentice

QA Apprenticeships · Manchester, United Kingdom

At A.D. Branded Solutions, we create experiences, not just branded products. Our Manchester-based team helps organisations source, design and deliver creative merchandise, branded clothing, corporate gifts and fulfilment programmes. We work with recognisable brands, and every order depends on people who care about the details.

This is a genuine opportunity to learn how a busy business operates. You will support colleagues across customer service, account management, operations, purchasing, marketing and finance, while working towards a recognised qualification.

Responsibilities:

- Helping to process customer orders, update our CRM and job records, check information and track progress against deadlines

- Supporting account managers with customer and supplier enquiries by email and phone, and helping request quotations, samples and product information

- Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and fulfilment partners to keep orders, deliveries and stock-programme requests moving smoothly

- Maintaining accurate order documentation, supplier records, pricing information and electronic files in line with company processes

- Assisting with parcel dispatches, deliveries, stationery, catalogues and the smooth running of the office

- Supporting marketing activity, such as preparing mail-outs, sending samples and maintaining accurate customer data

- Helping the finance team with basic administration, including organising invoices, statements and job paperwork

What we are looking for:

- A positive, reliable person with a willingness to learn and take pride in getting the small details right

- Good written and verbal communication, with a friendly and professional approach to colleagues, customers and suppliers

- Organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks and ask for help when needed

- Confidence with everyday technology, or enthusiasm to build skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and business systems

- A team player who is happy to get involved in routine administration as well as more challenging projects

- Previous office experience is not essential. We are looking for attitude, potential and a genuine interest in building a career in business

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Benefits:

- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

- Westfield Healthcare scheme and an employee rewards/discounts programme

- On-site gym, a welcoming office with a breakout area, and refreshments

- The opportunity to learn alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to projects for well-known clients

Future prospects:

There may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent role after successful completion, depending on performance and business needs.
