ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company building coding agents for financial research teams. As the first engineering hire, you will help mature the core product and work directly with customers to turn their research needs into reliable software.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and improve coding agents that create custom data pipelines, web scrapers, and dashboards.
- Manage remote development environments and infrastructure for customer deployments.
- Work directly with customers to understand research goals and deliver tailored solutions.
- Take features from design and scoping through implementation and delivery.
- Develop agent skills, tool libraries, and scaffolding to expand platform capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to four years of full-stack product engineering experience, with work shipped across frontend, backend, and data.
- Experience delivering applied product engineering, including LLM-powered applications or coding agents.
- Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, and agent frameworks.
- Experience with data pipelines, including web scraping, API integrations, and ETL for structured or unstructured sources.
- Customer-facing engineering experience, translating client needs into shipped products.
- Interest or experience in finance, investing, or financial data products.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field, with strong engineering fundamentals.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $165,000 to $210,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
