Cyber Security Analyst – Major Uplift Program

Ethos BeathChapman is recruiting a Cyber Security Analyst for a prominent Australian organisation embarking on a significant security uplift program. This is a chance to join a growing security function and play a central role in strengthening enterprise cyber resilience.

What you’ll do
- Drive security uplift activities and translate assessment findings into practical remediation
- Oversee SOC operations and incident response processes
- Lead vulnerability scanning, penetration testing coordination and patch management oversight
- Develop policies, standards, procedures and system security documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain SRMPs
- Support audit and compliance activities aligned to Essential Eight, PSPF and ISM
- Provide technical guidance on secure configurations, hardening and access control
- Prepare clear reporting for governance forums
- Support security awareness and capability uplift across the organisation
What you bring
- 5+ years in cyber security analysis or similar
- Strong knowledge of Essential Eight, PSPF and ISM
- Experience delivering uplift, GRC and remediation activities
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Industry certifications (Security+, GIAC, CISSP, CISM) beneficial
- Experience with enterprise security tools and MSPs preferred
- Australian citizenship required
