About the Role

We are looking for an aviation and product leader to lead Cirium's global Commercial Planning workflow. You will shape how Cirium helps airlines, airports and travel ecosystem partners understand passenger demand, network activity and competitive dynamics, enabling them to identify opportunities, optimise future plans and improve commercial performance. This hands-on individual-contributor role spans network and schedule planning, capacity and fleet deployment, route economics, air-service development, competitive benchmarking, passenger demand and traffic forecasting, with accountability for workflow strategy, customer discovery, investment priorities and overall commercial performance while individual Product Managers retain ownership of their respective products and capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Define the Commercial Planning strategy, identifying where Cirium should invest and how we can differentiate and win.

- Lead hands-on discovery and co-development with airlines, airports and other industry customers, turning complex planning problems into validated product opportunities.

- Drive co-development with customers and third-party data, technology and SaaS providers to expand and strengthen Cirium's solutions.

- Partner with Data Science and Data Subject Matter Expert teams to identify, create and validate new derived analytics capabilities, ensuring they solve priority customer problems and have credible commercial potential.

- Align products, data, analytics, AI and delivery surfaces around a coherent portfolio, and lead its value proposition and go-to-market direction with Sales, Marketing, Consultancy and Customer Success.

- Deliver measurable customer outcomes across the workflow.

- Grow adoption, retention and workflow-level commercial performance.

- Drive effective alignment across product, data, technology and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

- Significant direct exposure to airline network planning, schedule planning or airport commercial planning teams, gained within the industry or by building solutions for these users.

- Demonstrable experience as a Product Lead, Senior Product Manager or equivalent in a B2B data, analytics or SaaS environment.

- A strong record of customer discovery, co-development and taking complex products or capabilities from opportunity identification through delivery, launch and adoption.

- Commercial acumen, including experience assessing market opportunities, building investment cases and shaping positioning, pricing, packaging or go-to-market plans.

- The ability to influence senior customers, partners and cross-functional teams globally without relying on formal authority.

- Strong analytical judgement and the ability to balance quantitative evidence with customer and market insight.

- Experience working with engineering, Data Science, data SMEs, design and commercial teams to deliver complex analytical products.

- Sufficient technical fluency to understand data platforms, APIs, analytics, AI and technology trade-offs.

How success will be measured

- A clear, evidence-based Commercial Planning strategy and prioritised investment portfolio.

- A strong pipeline of validated customer, partner and market opportunities.

- Delivery of measurable customer outcomes across the workflow.

- Growth in adoption, retention and workflow-level commercial performance.

- Effective alignment across product, data, technology and go-to-market teams.
