Founding PLM Solutions Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage industrial software team as its founding PLM Solutions Engineer. You will shape the technical story for enterprise deals and help define how emerging product capabilities are presented to customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead technical discovery and deliver value-focused demonstrations for enterprise PLM opportunities.
- Own the technical narrative throughout the sales process, including product positioning and customer value.
- Develop demo environments, messaging, and go-to-market materials as products take shape.
- Work closely with company leadership and product teams, sharing customer feedback to inform product direction.
- Help establish the solutions engineering approach and win customers in a developing market.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Five to eight years of experience in PLM solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or industrial technical sales.
- Deep experience with process PLM and/or discrete PLM, with particular strength in process PLM.
- PLM experience in a software, implementation, consulting, or manufacturing context.
- Hands-on experience with at least one PLM platform, such as Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Arena, Aras, Propel, or Oracle Agile.
- A track record owning discovery, compelling story-driven demos, and technical narratives for enterprise sales.
- Experience with product data, bills of materials, or engineering change-management workflows is valuable.
- Comfort working in a startup or scale-up environment and traveling three to four days per month, including to Europe every other quarter.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $120,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Equity upside is part of the opportunity. Visa sponsorship is available.
