What You'll Do:As a Mobile Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the mobile service department and help ensure our team delivers quality work and excellent customer service.
- Oversee all mobile service functions and daily shop operations.
- Delegate and direct service assignments and technician workload.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coach and develop employees to help them achieve individual and team goals.
- Serve as a key resource for service, inventory, and product knowledge
- Manage and update work orders and invoices to ensure accurate, timely billing.
- Perform quality checks on completed work and verify invoice accuracy
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, dealers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, and progress.
- Provide feedback and direction to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency.
- Help train new employees on company procedures and expectations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay current on industry standards and best practices.
- Manage department P&L and understand financial performance.
- Monitor and calculate productivity to help drive department results.
What We're Looking For:- Previous experience leading or managing a service operation.
- Heavy-duty truck, trailer, fleet, or mobile service experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of work orders, invoicing, and service operations.
- Ability to manage a P&L and monitor productivity.
- Comfortable coaching employees and holding teams accountable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
