Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise AI Factories
NVIDIA · United States, California, Santa Clara
We’re hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to drive technical engagement with NVIDIA partners, OEMs, and customers across NVIDIA AI Factory solutions, focusing on on-premises enterprise solutions. In this role, you’ll connect real-world customer workloads to NVIDIA’s hardware and software ecosystem, helping developers and enterprises adopt and scale our platforms. We’re looking for someone with strong technical depth who can serve as a trusted advisor, bridge complex challenges to innovative solutions, and grow into a strategic resource for the customers and partners you support. If you’re excited about applied technology and enabling others to succeed with advanced platforms, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a trusted advisor who understands complex or large-scale customer workloads and maps them to NVIDIA’s technology stack to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Co-design advanced, scalable architectures with NVIDIA integration partners, select OEMs, and key end customers, defining technical direction, integration milestones, and deployment plans.
- Engage hands-on with deep technical topics—designing, validating, and supporting solutions that enable customer success.
- Identify gaps between customer and partner needs and NVIDIA offerings, communicating insights that shape internal product and engineering priorities.
- Lead technical engagements, helping customers troubleshoot, resolve complex issues, and advocate for their technical needs.
- Drive technical enablement and platform adoption, helping developers and enterprises integrate NVIDIA SDKs, frameworks, and systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure successful deployment and continuous improvement of NVIDIA solutions.
- Become an authority who builds and shares knowledge and infrastructure insights for NVIDIA platforms.
- Act as a resource to help tailor on-premises solutions to specific environments and workloads while balancing risk, performance, and supportability needs.
- Be hands-on, and a voice of experience. This role is for those who thrive by gaining real experience and using that to help accelerate others.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Industry background spanning software/hardware engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management — with 3-5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in compute, networking, and storage hardware and software platforms.
- Deep technical expertise in system management software, operating systems, system firmware, and all the hardware infrastructure that goes with it when deployed at scale, with a track record of driving product integrations and contributing to software and hardware platforms, systems, and libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to C-level executives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to helping customers succeed.
- A track record of balancing empathy for partner and customer needs with the ability to drive complex product decisions through trusted relationships.
- Hands-on experience with deploying, using, and operating on-premises AI-focused solutions, including system architectures, rack-scale firmware, cluster management software, workload management software, and the associated hardware that underlies it. If you are motivated by sharing how hardware, firmware, and software all work together to build a platform, this is the role for you.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
- A hands-on technical expert and problem solver who can clearly describe solution paths for complex challenges.
- History of enabling customers and/or partners to successfully adopt NVIDIA technologies and platforms.
- A technical vision that influences product and engineering decisions and drives production outcomes.
- Real-world experience with cluster management tools (e.g., NVIDIA Base Command Manager, MaaS), workload orchestration software (e.g., Slurm, Kubernetes).
- Practical knowledge of system and rack-scale hardware, such as BMCs, PCIe communication, network topologies, and how they all interact.
