Application Support

We are looking for an Application Support to join ao project in banking and insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux environments, production support, infrastructure, monitoring, and automation & ensuring the stability and availability of business-critical applications.
What you would do:
- Provide operational and L3 support across production environments.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests.
- Ensure application and infrastructure stability, availability, and performance.
- Manage application deployments, releases, and technical changes.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure and ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Automate and improve operational processes using scripting.
- Coordinate technical projects with infrastructure and development teams.
- Support technical architecture and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage scheduling, backups, recovery tests, and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 critical applications.
What you need to bring:
- 6+ years of experience in Linux environments / IT projects.
- Strong knowledge of Linux; Windows Server is a plus.
- Experience with Shell scripting and Python.
- Knowledge of web/application servers, particularly WebSphere and JBoss.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates, reverse proxy, and load balancing.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M and VTOM.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and production support skills.
