Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year

Bonus: 15% annual target

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager

to lead sterile processing operations within a hospital environment. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations, team performance, quality and compliance, and maintaining a strong partnership with hospital leadership, surgeons, and OR personnel.

The Manager will oversee staffing, training, performance, operational KPIs, and service delivery while ensuring the department consistently meets hospital and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily sterile processing operations and ensure consistent, high-quality service to the OR and hospital departments.

- Hire, train, coach, and manage sterile processing staff and frontline leaders.

- Maintain strong relationships with hospital administration, surgeons, OR leadership, and other key stakeholders.

- Manage staffing levels, productivity, KPIs, quality metrics, contract requirements, and overall operational performance.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, credentialing requirements, and industry regulations.

- Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and service.

- Utilize data and technology to monitor performance, anticipate staffing/resource needs, and drive operational improvements.

- Support financial performance and accountability for the operation.

Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of Operating Room and/or Sterile Processing experience.

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

- CRCST certification required.

- CER certification is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Experience working directly with hospital leadership and/or C-suite stakeholders preferred.

- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
