About the Role
We are looking for a (Senior) Finance Business Partner to support our business growth and financial performance in the Netherlands. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive cost efficiency, and support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with business objectives.
- Business Performance Analysis: Analyse financial results against budgets and forecasts, identify key variances and business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Cost Control & Optimization: Monitor operating expenses, headcount costs, and budget utilization, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation.
- Business Partnering: Partner with business leaders to evaluate business cases, assess financial implications, and support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Management Reporting: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews to provide clear visibility of business performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with local and regional finance teams to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting processes, and enhance financial planning efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Chinese; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
- Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or multinational business environment is preferred.
