At our Norwich site we're looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead to help shape how we work, improve how we perform, and build a culture where everyone is empowered to make things better.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and bringing people together to deliver meaningful change. Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, you'll lead improvement activity across the site, helping us improve productivity, efficiency, performance and capability.

What makes this role particularly exciting is the opportunity to influence the direction of our Continuous Improvement journey. We're not looking for someone to simply follow a set playbook. We're looking for someone who can help us build the agenda, develop our ways of working and create sustainable improvements that have a lasting impact on the business.

You'll spend time out on the factory floor, engaging with teams, identifying opportunities, coaching others and leading projects through to implementation. You'll be equally comfortable working with data, facilitating workshops, influencing stakeholders and supporting colleagues to solve challenges for themselves.

What you'll be doing

- Driving a culture of Continuous Improvement across the Norwich site.

- Working with leaders and teams to identify opportunities to improve performance, productivity and efficiency.

- Leading improvement projects from idea through to implementation and sustained results.

- Coaching and developing colleagues in Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and problem-solving methodologies.

- Challenging existing processes and ways of working to deliver tangible business benefits.

- Supporting the site in achieving key operational, quality, safety and cost objectives.

- Tracking, measuring and communicating project performance and outcomes.

- Helping build the capability and confidence of others to drive improvement within their own teams.

We're open-minded on background and industry experience.

You may currently work in food manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, engineering, logistics or another operational environment. What's important is that you've been involved in driving change, improving performance and bringing people with you on the journey.

You'll likely have:

- Experience leading or supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- A practical understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies.

- Experience delivering projects and driving measurable business improvements.

- The ability to coach, influence and engage people at all levels of the organisation.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making things better.

- The energy, resilience and credibility to drive change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real mark on the business. You'll have the freedom to influence, the support of an engaged leadership team and the chance to help shape the future of Continuous Improvement at Valeo Foods UK
