We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our Anaheim, CA location.
This is a full-time onsite position located at 2419 E Winston Rd, Anaheim, CA 92806.
Salary Exempt: $115,000-$135,000/year
Position is eligible for participation in the annual bonus program.
The Quality Manager will lead the site's quality function and serve as the plant contact for Enterprise Environment, Health, and Safety programs. This role builds and implements our Quality Management System (QMS), guides production teams on quality standards, and serves as the primary quality contact for our customers.
The position splits time: 80% Quality and 20% Environment, Health & Safety.
Required Job Duties
Quality (80%)
• Lead the site quality function, setting goals and priorities within the site.
• Guide production teams on quality standards, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Build and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve SQF and ISO 9001 certification.
• Develop procedures, work instructions, forms, and documentation.
• Lead internal audits and prepare the site for external certification audits.
• Approve first piece inspections and oversee in-process quality checks.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage nonconformance, CAPA, and supplier quality processes.
• Partner with production teams to resolve real-time quality issues.
• Maintain training and development records.
• Partner with customers to understand their requirements and processes, including site visits as needed.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers – respond to customer quality complaints, lead investigations, and provide timely corrective action responses.
• Work with customers to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Health & Safety (20%): Prior EHS experience not required. Training Provided
• Implement Corporate EHS programs within the dedicated site and support ongoing compliance.
• Learn and apply OSHA regulations, corporate EHS standards, and applicable California laws through structured training.
• Oversee and confirm completion of all required safety training, with guidance provided.
• Experience with SQF, GMPs, and ISO 9001.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with internal and external teams.
• Excellent auditing, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• ISO 9001 and Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in printing, labels, packaging, or food contact materials preferred.
