Job Description

About the role

As Senior Manager, Network Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will lead financial planning and analysis for FIS's Network, Loyalty, and Prepaid businesses. The role serves as a strategic finance partner to business and functional leaders, providing the financial insight, forecasting, and decision support needed to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and investment decisions.

You will own the planning, forecasting, performance management, and financial analysis processes across the portfolio, translating complex business and financial information into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership. You will develop a deep understanding of the economic and operational drivers of each business, including transaction volumes, pricing, client activity, product mix, operating costs, and investment requirements.

The Senior Manager will also lead and develop a team of two FP&A professionals, establishing priorities, improving analytical capabilities, and ensuring consistently high-quality financial support across the Network, Loyalty, and Prepaid businesses.

Role location: Jacksonville, FL

Work model: Hybrid, Tuesday through Thursday in office; Monday and Friday virtual

Your key responsibilities

Business Partnership & Financial Leadership

- Serve as the primary FP&A partner for the Network, Loyalty, and Prepaid businesses, developing a strong understanding of each business's strategy, economics, operating model, and key performance drivers.

- Partner with business leaders to evaluate revenue growth, pricing, margins, client and product performance, operating expenses, and investment opportunities.

- Translate business strategy and operating plans into actionable financial forecasts, targets, and performance metrics.

- Provide senior leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and business trade-offs.

- Develop and maintain driver-based financial models connecting key business drivers, such as transaction volumes, client activity, pricing, product mix, and operational costs, to financial outcomes.

- Ensure forecasts accurately reflect commercial pipelines, client trends, product initiatives, expense investments, and other key business assumptions.

- Develop clear financial narratives for monthly business reviews, forecasts, annual plans, and other senior-management discussions.

Strategic Analysis & Decision Support

- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, investments, pricing decisions, client economics, cost initiatives, and strategic alternatives.

- Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend actions that improve revenue, margin, and returns.

- Evaluate busines cases and investment proposals using disciplined financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and return metrics.

- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through better pricing, product mix, expense management, operating efficiencies, or capital deployment.

- Provide proactive analysis of risks and opportunities and help leadership understand both near-term financial implications and longer-term strategic impacts.

Network, Loyalty & Prepaid Economics

- Develop reporting and analytical frameworks that provide transparency into the underlying economics of the three businesses.

- Evaluate relationships between transaction volumes, pricing/yield, revenue, variable costs, contribution margin, and operating expenses.

- Analyze performance across clients, products, channels, and other relevant dimensions to identify growth and profitability opportunities.

- Partner with Product and Commercial teams to understand pipeline activity, client wins and losses, pricing changes, and volume trends and incorporate those developments into forecasts.

- Support evaluation of new products, partnerships, client opportunities, and investments through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, coach, and develop two FP&A professionals, establishing clear priorities and accountability for financial deliverables.

- Build the team's capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, business partnership, data analytics, and executive communication.

- Establish high standards for analytical rigor, accuracy, responsiveness, and financial storytelling.

- Create development opportunities that move the team beyond reporting results toward generating actionable business insights.

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

- Work with our Accenture partners and drive continued improvement in forecasting accuracy, planning processes, management reporting, data quality, and analytical capabilities.

- Simplify and automate recurring FP&A activities to create greater capacity for forward-looking financial analysis and business partnership.

- Partner with financial systems, data, and development teams to improve planning functionality, reporting capabilities, and financial data structures.

- Leverage modern analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve forecast accuracy, scenario modeling, and insight generation.
