ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the engineering team at a growth-stage construction technology company building software for contractors. You will own complex, customer-facing product work across the stack, helping modernize the systems that support construction teams and field operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the design and implementation of complex product features from technical blueprint through launch.
- Build and improve frontend experiences, backend APIs, and modular infrastructure and services.
- Work directly with customers and product partners to understand needs, gather feedback, and shape solutions.
- Contribute to technical direction and product decisions while raising the quality of the team's engineering foundations.
- Use AI-enabled tools and lean development practices to deliver customer outcomes efficiently.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to nine years of software engineering experience, including experience in a Senior-level role.
- A strong software engineering foundation and a record of building complex products on high-performing teams.
- Full-stack experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and APIs; familiarity with React Native, MongoDB, or related technologies is relevant.
- Strong fundamentals across frontend development, backend systems, and modular service design.
- A product-minded approach, clear communication with technical and non-technical partners, and ownership from idea through delivery.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or in construction technology, workforce software, or another B2B SaaS environment is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California. New York City is also an approved on-site location.
